What'new in CD Folder Partitioner 2

Description

CD Folder Partitioner 2 was created to make easy the copy of data to a set of CDs and DVDs. For example, to backup your Home folder, as well as an entire disk.
With CD Folder Partitioner, you don't need to care about the size of very large files (movies, music, etc.). If they are too large, they will be splitted to be copied on 2 or more volumes.

Copy a folder

You just have to drag the folder in the window of CD Folder Partitioner, and to set the size of the destination volumes (CD, DVD or disk images), then run the copy.

CD Folder Partitioner will automatically distribute the data on as much volumes as needed, and will automatically split files if necessary.
Copy is first done on disk images that can be burned bit by bit, or at the end of the entire copy process. You can also decide not to burn immediatly, and have all the disk images ready for a further use.
You can define the location where the disk images are saved (internal or external disk).

Restore

You can restore the entire contents of the original folder or disk, and choose where the data have to be restored. CD Folder Partitioner will ask for the first volume, and then all the volumes that where created.
You can also recover a single file, or a selection of files among all those that were saved. Drag and drop the first volume and CD Folder Partitioner will list all the files and folders that were saved from the original folder or disk.

Select the items you want to recover and click hte Restore button. A destination folder will be asked, and CD Folder Partitioner willa sk for the volumes where the selected files are located.
